Paperboy to Ai Pioneer
Go make sales!
At 11 years old, Daniel Tolson was diagnosed with a linear sequential learning disability. Despite this challenge, he started his first job as a paperboy, determined to get better and improve himself.
This marked the beginning of his journey, though he didn’t yet know where it would lead.
Daniel’s uncle John O’Brien introduced him to sales, giving him a simple three-step training process:
- Here are your papers.
- There is the door.
- Go make sales.
Daniel, full of hope, believed this formula would make him rich.
His excitement grew as he began his journey, thinking it would be a straight line to success.
Daniel’s first day of sales quickly crushed his initial excitement.
His first stop was the local bakery, where the owner rejected him, saying, “I don’t read the newspaper. The news isn’t important.”
Next, the fish market told him, “I don’t have time for the news.”
At the third stop, the hairdresser seemed promising. After all, he was a customer too! But even there, the response was less than enthusiastic: “$1, you’ll have to ask the boss, but she’s not here, come back tomorrow.”
Daniel realized sales weren’t as easy as they sounded.
He began to doubt the whole idea.
Burnout hit hard!!
At age 19, Daniel’s uncle John invited him into real estate, promising that this time he would show him how to develop the right mindset for success. His uncle emphasized that success in sales was a mental game, and he needed to learn the psychology of selling to truly thrive.
Daniel’s uncle wasn’t just a mentor, but a guide to the more strategic elements of sales.
Daniel dove into the Australian real estate industry, learning from the best. He devoured books, attended seminars, and focused on getting 1% better each day. By his first year, he became one of the top sales creators in the country. At 19, he bought his first investment property with uncle John and followed it with a second at 21.
Daniel had crossed the threshold, stepping into a new world of success and opportunity.
But the path wasn’t without its challenges. Burnout hit hard. Daniel lost focus and energy, feeling mentally exhausted and depressed.
His desire began to fade, and he eventually exited his career. He traveled the world, ran his family business, started his own business, sold finance, and explored various product sales.
Despite his achievements, he felt disconnected from his true potential.
Rejected from 300 jobs
Although Daniel had enjoyed successes in his different ventures, he still felt trapped.
He knew he could do more, but something was holding him back.
After moving to Dubai and co-leading a team of 17,500 as a senior flight steward at Emirates, he faced a profound turning point.
In 2012, after his wife had an accident on an aircraft and endured 2.5 years of rehabilitation, Daniel realized he needed to get back to business.
He had to sell his way to success again.
Yet, Daniel’s struggle wasn’t over. He faced deep depression, a shattered confidence, and was rejected from over 300 job applications. The company he once worked for was not in a position to take him back, but it wasn’t enough.
He finally realized that in order to succeed, he had to sell his way out of his situation, using the skills he had developed over the years.
In 2016, Daniel discovered scientific reports that transformed his perspective on business.
By 2020, he stumbled upon AI and vocal bio-marker technology and recognized the massive potential for revolutionizing sales assessments.
He knew this technology could change the way businesses select, recruit, and retain top talent, and he was determined to be the one to make it happen.
From 2017, Daniel completed 1,350 scientific reports, and by the end of the pandemic, he had delivered over 10,000.
His new technology allowed him to hold online events with 500 to 1,000 attendees.
He personally delivered over 10,000 scientific case studies to back up his methods and was gaining recognition as a leader in business psychology.
Get better!
100,000 people having better health by next year!
Then, Daniel was struck by a vaccine injury, which reminded him that he needed to prioritise his health.
This experience led to a powerful realisation: leaders wanted more than just techniques and strategies — they wanted holistic health solutions to help them get better in every aspect of their lives.
This drove him to develop better health practices and improve his technology even further.
In 2020, Daniel met a group of doctors, scientists, and engineers who had access to the world’s most advanced vocal biomarker, AI, machine learning, and algorithm technologies.
These innovations were developed at leading universities and hospitals and trained on the world’s largest data systems.
Recognizing the immense potential, Daniel immediately partnered with the team.
Shortly after, he acquired global rights and licenses, gaining control over the future of this groundbreaking technology.
This partnership led to the launch of his new company, Alignment Assessments, which now provides medical technologies to hospitals, holistic healthcare providers, and personal development solutions to businesses and consultants worldwide.
Daniel’s latest breakthrough, the Sales Assessment, is the world’s first AI-powered tool capable of detecting sales psychology and identifying 11 critical areas for sales success.
